01. Who this notice covers
This notice explains how Umeed Ek Kiran handles information connected with www.umeedekkiran.in, donation enquiries and our animal-care work. It covers information you provide to us and information processed by services supporting the website.
02. Information we handle
- Details you provide: your name, phone number, optional email address, messages and information you choose to send when contacting us.
- Donation records: amount, date, payment status, payment or UPI reference and information needed to identify a contribution. A bank or UPI provider may also include the payer’s name or UPI identifier in transaction records.
- Technical information: hosting and security providers may process IP addresses, browser and device information, requested pages, timestamps and error logs when delivering and protecting the website.
The donation form supports browser autofill. Your browser controls whether saved details are offered; the page does not independently read your browser history or unrelated saved information.
03. Why information is used
We use relevant information to handle and reconcile donations, respond to enquiries, provide acknowledgements, resolve payment issues, prevent misuse, maintain financial records and meet applicable requirements. Website technical information helps deliver pages and investigate errors or security issues.
Donation or support communications are separate from optional promotional updates. Where an optional update service is offered, you can choose whether to receive it and ask us to stop.
04. Payment information
Online checkout, when available, is processed by Razorpay and its payment partners. Direct QR payments are processed by your UPI app, bank and payment network. These providers process payment credentials under their own notices.
Do not enter a UPI PIN, OTP, CVV or full card number into a message to us. We do not ask for these credentials by email or phone. See Razorpay’s Privacy Policy for its processing practices.
05. Services and sharing
Information necessary for the task may be shared with website hosting and delivery providers, payment providers, communication services, authorised team members and advisers handling our records. We may also disclose information where required by law or needed to investigate fraud or protect lawful rights.
This website is hosted using Systeme.io. Images and videos are delivered from a content delivery network, and Google Fonts supplies typefaces. Loading these resources can send technical request information, such as your IP address, to those providers. Their systems may process information outside India.
When you open Instagram, WhatsApp, Maps or another external service, that service’s privacy rules apply. We do not sell donor contact information.
07. Retention and security
We keep information for as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described here, including donation accounting, resolving issues and applicable recordkeeping requirements. When it is no longer needed, it should be deleted or de-identified, subject to retained backups and legal obligations.
We use reasonable safeguards and limit access according to the task. No internet transmission or storage method can be guaranteed completely secure. Send only the information needed for your enquiry.
08. Your choices and requests
You can contact us to ask about information we hold, request correction or deletion, raise a privacy concern, or withdraw consent where processing relies on it. Some information may need to be retained for financial, legal or dispute-resolution purposes. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.

09. Children
Donations are intended to be made by adults aged 18 or above. We do not ask children to submit personal information through a donation form. If you believe a child has provided information to us, please contact us so we can review it and take appropriate action.
